Last updated: August 3, 2026
These Terms govern your use of webdev.sddumper.comand the SD Dumper macOS application (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. The product
SD Dumper is an open-source application for macOS that helps you copy and organize media from storage devices onto your Mac. It is provided as-is for professional and personal use. You are responsible for verifying that critical media has been copied successfully before reformatting or erasing source media.
2. Open source and license
Source code is available from the project repository linked on this site. Use of the source is governed by the license file in that repository. Official website downloads of prebuilt macOS binaries are provided for convenience; the same license terms apply unless a release note states otherwise.
Subject to the open-source license and these Terms, you may install and use the macOS application on devices you own or control.
3. Your responsibilities
- Back up important data. No software replaces a backup strategy.
- Only process media you have the right to copy and store.
- Keep the app updated when we publish releases, or rebuild from a current source tag.
4. Website content
Marketing pages, blog posts, and downloads may change. Download links are provided for convenience; always verify you are fetching builds from official release channels we publish.
5. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT COPIES WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED.
6. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
